Piececool Metal Puzzle 3D Model - Richelieu Battle Ship
The miniatures in this series have been exquisitely designed and crafted with great attention to detail.
All the parts have been laser cut, just cut them off the metal moldings with pliers or clippers.
This is a stunning set for a rarely modeled ship. Established in 1935. Richelieu was completed just days before the German victory in the Battle of France in June 1940., and then sailed to French West Africa to keep it under French control. But then it was attacked by the British to force it to hand over to the Free French Navy. The ship was modernized in the U.S. and served in the British home fleet in early 1944 before joining the Eastern Fleet against the Japanese. It was finally scrapped in Italy between 1968 and 1969.
This set is a substantial construction: 5 sheets of stainless steel and brass build a 31.5 cm long model. Bursting with detail, right down to the unique four-division, 15-inch turrets of the main armament, this Richelieu model is a stunning addition to the Piececool fleet.
